KA'ABA: THE CENTER OF OUR PLANET
In this verse from Torah, God gave us three hints to know the exact
location of the blessed land. One, it is a mountainous place. Two it is in the
east and three there was an altar built there. Present day Israel does not fit
the description. But what about Mecca? It was a city in the east and in the
midst of mountains, it also has an altar associated with Abraham (The Ka’aba). Several
rites of the pilgrims were done in an imitation of Abraham. In Israel there is
no place of worship associated with Abraham. After building the altar God said
Genesis
14-15 "And the lord said to Abraham…lift up now thine eyes and look from
the place where you are northward and southward and eastward and westward. For
all the land that you see to thee I will give it and thy seed forever"
After building this altar, which is at the exact center of the
world, God promised Abraham that his progeny, the Homo sapiens, would inherit
all the land in all direction. The Ka’aba in Mecca is the center of this world
and the location of the first solid building on earth for worshipping God and
he said
Q3:
96 "The first house appointed for men was that at Bakka full of blessings
and of guidance for all kind of beings"
Prior to it mankind were living in makeshift or natural shelters
as we have seen in the stories of former species like Ad (Robustus) and Thamud
(Boisei), it is the first block building and the center of this planet. God
gave us proofs
Q3:
97 "In it are signs manifest: foe example the station of Abraham; whoever
enters it attain security. Pilgrimage unto it is a duty"
This house, a solitary building in the wilderness was destined
to be the most revered place in the heart of men, the most frequently visited
shrine in history, the most expensive reconstructed structure and the most
unifying place in existence. This fact is widely noted and accepted. In the
above verse God said one of the signs associated with the Ka'aba was the
station of Abraham. What are the signs associated with the station of Abraham?
A few meters away from the building of Ka’aba there is an enclosed metal case
adorned in gold, inside are the footprints of Abraham where he stood after accomplishing
the building. This location is the approximate center of this world if we take
the arid earth into consideration. A scientific investigation revealed that
Mecca is the center of the continents, old and new, before the separation of
the continents from one another in the ancient geological age.
In the old continent- Java in Indonesia is situated at a
distance of 8,273km from Mecca, Borneo is 8,433km away, Cape Town in South
Africa is at 6,559 km, ICE LAND is at 6,410km, New Siberia in northern Russia
is at 8,790 km AND Taiwan is at 8,018 km. Manila in the Philippines at 8,050km.
This indicates that if we draw a circle with a diameter of 8,096km its center
will be Mecca, as the above mentioned nine cities of the old world-Asia, Africa
and Europe- will come inside this circle with some minor differences among
themselves. The average distance of these cities from Mecca is 8,039km. The
diameter of the circle, which surrounds the old continent, is around 8000km,
the central point that becomes the location of Mecca.
In the new continents of Australia, North and South America, the
distance between Mecca and Wellington in New Zealand is 13,040km and from Cape
Horn in south America to Mecca is 13,120km. Alaska in the tip of North America
is 13,600km from Mecca. The average distances between these cities of the new
continents and Mecca is 13, 253km and the slight difference don’t exceed 2.5%.
The above-mentioned cities represent the corners of the new world and the
distance between them is almost equal. This new circle which goes round the new
continents also covered the North Pole and Antarctica. If a line could be drawn
along the the center of the new continents in a way that includes the frozen
south pole but exclude the Atlantic, Indian and the southern oceans, then the
center of the Arid world will be Mecca.
The second sign associated with Mecca is the security it
enjoined since the day Abraham built this altar. As a blessed land it must have
maximum security, men revered the place and come for pilgrimage from all
corners of Arabia long before Islam. This pilgrimage made the city a trade
route for Gold and other merchandise. All the great conquerors like Alexander
the great and Genghis Khan passed it by. The year Muhammad was born a Christian
king from Yemen rode to invade it but failed to enter the town. More recently
the two world wars passed it by and a foreign force has never invaded it.
Jerusalem on the other hand had suffered invasion several times. In the year
586 B.C. a Babylonian king Nebucaddenezer put Jerusalem under siege for
eighteen months. He entered the town pillaging it and destroy the temple of
Solomon. Also in the year 70 A.D. A roman king, Titus, invaded the city killed,
capture and exile thousands of Jews. Omar, the second caliph of Islam, has
captured Jerusalem and showed magnanimity that became the talk of historians.
Another sign associated with the Ka’aba was what this verse said
Q52:4
"By the much frequented shrine"
There is no shrine in the entire history of religion that enjoys
patronage like the Ka’aba. Millions of pilgrims flock it from all corners of
the globe all year round. And during the annual pilgrimage about three million
people attended. There is not a single minute, which people are not
circumambulating the cubicle shrine or praying within the walls. All Muslim
wherever they are face the Ka’aba to pray five times a day. Even the English
language adopted the word "Mecca" to signify anything that attracts
so many people. Mecca managed to survive through the centuries because God has
provided the town with a well that never runs dry, despite the fact that
millions of people drink, bath and took the water as a souvenir (since it is
considered holy water). Millions of liters were consumed daily but the well
keep flowing, and do not forget this well is in the middle of desert. Father
Abraham prayed for Mecca thus
Q2
:126 "And remember Abraham said "My lord make this a city of peace
and feed its people with fruits"
God has absolutely answered this prayer because Mecca can claim
to be the most peaceful and secured city in the world. Armed robbery, rape,
murder, terrorism etc. were the lowest in the world, even though the Bn laden’s
of this world came from the country. God also bless this country with fruits of
all kinds, as everyone knows Saudi Arabia is the largest producer of oil in the
world. Rising from a country that begs for a token change from the British in
the first half of the last century to the leading producer of oil by the turn
of the century (extracts nine million barrels a day). Oil is a product of
petrified woods under the action of heat underground for millions of years.
Returning to Abraham, towards the end of his life he prayed to God thus
